You can browse a catalog index until you find items of interest. For example, you can type just the first words of a title or the first few letters of an author's last name and then browse in a list of search results. When you browse the Subject index, you may find cross-references that can lead you to related subjects. You can browse the Title, Author, Subject, Call Number*, or Series indexes of the catalog. Type your search word or part of the word in the Starts with... box. Select an index in the Search by box. Click Go. If you chose Author, Subject, or Series, the search results list shows headings in the index. Click a heading to see the titles associated with it. The Subject index may include cross-reference links to related subjects. If you chose Title or Call Number, the search results list shows the titles or call numbers directly. Click any item to see more information. You can browse back and forth in any index.
